“What is the difference between Fraser and Balsam Christmas Trees?”
There are two main differences between Fraser and Balsam Christmas Trees
Needle retention: Balsam Fir trees tend to shed more needles than Fraser Fir, this does not mean the tree won’t last as long, it is simply a natural habit of the species. If you prefer a little bit less cleanup, Fraser Fir may be the right choice for you.
Fragrance: Balsam Fir trees have a stronger scent than Fraser Fir when they are displayed in your home, if you are someone who likes the house to have a nice aroma during the holidays, Balsam may be right for you.
“How long do your trees last?”
The short answer to this question is that your tree should be soft and green until New Years. Our trees are cut very close to their ship date, the fresher the tree is, the longer it should last. Water is always your friend, keep your tree stand full of water and do not let it dry out. Through the day your tree will drink water and you will need to add more. We recommend checking the water level with your finger in the morning and the evening.
